The Arts
Sandpoint's laid back tranquil beauty has attracted scores of artists over the years. The Timber Stand Gallery is at the core of the art scene in Sandpoint. They host monthly shows and are the largest custom frame shop in the area. They also provide restoration and appraisal services. Artists like Stephen Lyman, Ross Hall, Catherine Earle, and Janene Grende have made Sandpoint their home and would never leave.

Skiing and Winter Sports
With a true four-season climate, and Schweitzer Mountain just outside of town, Sandpoint is great for the winter sports lover.

Food and Drink
Sandpoint is blessed with several fine restaurants like Ivano's Ristorante and Café Trinity. For the best sandwiches and soups in the area, everyone goes to Spud's. You can see all area restaurants and search by type of cuisine at the Sandpoint Dining and Restaurant Guide.

Golf
Sandpoint is turning into a golfers paradise. The Idaho Club, a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course will be open late 2008. StoneRidge Golf Resort in Blanchard boasts one of the best layouts in the Inland Northwest and with talk that the Settlement Golf course right outside of Priest River will be open in 2012 you can see why golfers of all kinds love coming to the area.

The heart and soul of Sandpoint and the surrounding areas are the people that live and breath here. We all understand Sandpoint is truly a unique place and it needs to be cherished and managed for all to enjoy now and for years to come. We have a vibrant artistic community and some of the best recreational opportunities in the Northwest. Spend some time here and you will not leave. To learn more visit Sandpoint Online.
